boy do we need to update this, but wanted to say what a fabulous day we had at shearing yesterday. While I have assisted at other shearings this was the first time I got a round of appause from the shearers. We or they did 45 animals in just over 5 hours, started at 8 ended at 2 and that included two breaks and lunch. What a great bunch of friends and somewhat cooperative animals. Everyone was back in their pastures and very relaxed by 2:30 and the herd guard dogs back happy amongst their charges. Fantastic food thanks to Mary Ann, Liz and Joe. Josh and “Vern” aka Josh are simply the greatest. so relaxed and easy to work with. Mary Ann and Terry have a fantastic and well deserved Vacation and please give Dawn a great big hug from me.

We chose the Folkmanis Alpaca Puppet which arrived today and it’s so cute! I think my 2 yr old thought it was real as well as my dog, haha!! Thank you so much! Cant wait to visit the farm and see some Alpacas in person!

They are dedicated to fiber and all it’s uses and varieties.
