Dear Friends and Supporters,

With heavy hearts, we announce the permanent closure of A Stroka Gene-Us Alpacas and our farm store. Since 2007, it has been our immense joy to share our love for alpacas with each of you. Due to unfortunate circumstances, we have made the difficult decision to close our farm.

We are deeply grateful for the years of support, friendship, and shared moments that have enriched our lives. Your visits, enthusiasm, and love for our alpacas have meant the world to us. Thank you for being a part of our journey and for the cherished memories we've created together.

We are so excited to see Blue Barns Farm - Alpaca, Llama & Goat Sanctuary build upon our legacy. Please follow them on Facebook to keep up with the farm's transformation!

With heartfelt gratitude,

Mary Ann and Terry

Alpaca Farm Tours & Products in Stringer, MS near Laurel MS, home of HOMETOWN on HG TV

Why Buy Alpaca Products?

Supporting local alpaca farmers keeps the need for alpaca fiber strong. Ideal for people, who are sensitive to other fibers, alpaca fiber is warm, hypoallergenic, lightweight, and contains no lanolin.
Knitters, spinners, weavers and crochet enthusiasts will find our alpaca fiber comes in 22 natural colors, is easy to process and blends well with other types of fibers.  Alpaca fiber is 3 times warmer and 10 times softer than wool.

We are a small family farm with 15   alpacas, 1 llama,  Great White Pyrenees livestock guard dogs, 2 mini donkeys, ducks and lots of chickens. We teach people how to care for alpacas and how to turn their amazing fiber into yarn and finished products.
Classes are offered in all types of fiber arts.
Farm fresh eggs are also available for $3 per dozen.
